hey guys michael here from device deal
today we're going to be looking at
another set of yearling phones today
today we're looking at the deck series
so this is the wireless series so these
ones are really going to be useful for
those guys that are on the move you know
you maybe you work in a warehouse or
retail or like a small office or home
office you know anywhere where you need
to be portable i mean to take your
phones on the move
another good thing about these phones is
that they've got a lot of flexibility to
them so you know they're really super
lightweight really kind of comfy a lot
of them will have clip options so you
can clip them onto a belt and they've
got really good audio and noise blocking
features as well they're a really great
option and today we're going to take a
look at a few of the different phones
they've got
five models to choose from we've got
three with us today there are two more
that are coming in soon hopefully by the
middle of september
but today we're just going to take a
look at what we've got in front of us
and go through a bit more
[Music]
so we want to go into a little bit more
detail about each of the phones now
before we do i just do want to clarify
that with all these phones these dect
phones you will need a base station in
order for these to work so the current
base station model right now that can be
sold paired with a lot of these models
is the w70b which i have in front of me
it can support up to 10 handsets
connected and you can mix and match so
if you like the look of a couple of
these different handsets we've got today
you can mix and match them to link to
the same base and if you do want to have
more than 10 phones in the workplace or
10 of these phones they can that can be
expanded as well and you can even use
repeaters and stuff as well to extend
the distance even further so with a
combination of different base stations
and repeaters you can ultimately have
you know up to 100 phones connected or
even more
and covering quite a large distance to
cover large warehouses or office spaces
or anything alike
so the first phone we're going to look
at today is the w56h which is this one
in front of me here this is probably the
most popular model of the dect handsets
and it's been around for quite a while
you may remember it from combos like the
w60p which used to come with an older
base station which is the 6db
and now it's just been changed to the
w76p so the phone has remained the same
throughout the series just that the base
change the base has upgraded throughout
the years
so this one would be most recommended
for people maybe working in like a
supermarket or a small office or a home
office it's also got a 2.4 inch screen
and an elegant keypad design and it's
really good on the battery life as well
you can get up to 30 hours of talking
time and up to 400 hours of standby time
so the next phone we're going to look at
is one that we don't have in front of us
today but it's the one coming soon which
is the w78h
so this phone is considered the premium
in the range and it's going to be for
people such as like executives directors
or smes you know people in those higher
positions
so like the w56h the 78h also has a 2.4
inch color screen with some beautiful
sound and clear audio and it's got quick
charging which is important so you can
get a 10 minute charge time for two
hours of talking time which is really
important it's also got a vibration
alarm so you can ensure that you don't
miss any calls even in a noisy
environment when it comes to headsets if
you want to connect an additional
headset to it you've got both 3.5
millimeter jack capability as well as
bluetooth so you can connect any
bluetooth headset such as your airpods
to these phones so now we want to have a
look at the w59r which is the one i've
got next to me here
so this one is made to be more for
rugged environments so maybe like in a
warehouse environment or maybe if you're
like working in a kitchen or anything
alike you know this phone is really made
to be kind of almost thrown around or
not literally but
it's really rugged and made for kind of
dropping and just being moved around
frequently and just having that kind of
extra protection in comparison to the
other phones
so when it comes to the battery life of
these phones they're similar to the
other ones we've looked at so far with
up to 28 hours of talk time and up to
360 hours of standby time
because the phone is so rugged it
actually can cushion the fall and it can
even even withstand falls of up to three
and a half meters
on top of that the phone is also dust
resistant shock resistant water
resistant scratch resistant
anti-disinfectant it even has a push
button alarm as well as having like a
running alarm or even a no movement
alarm for for those trying to slack off
so now i want to talk about the w57r
which is just kind of like the
entry-level version of the 59r we just
went through before so honestly the
phones are very similar uh the probably
main distinguishable differences between
them is the battery life so the 57r
actually has a larger battery life
compared to the 59 however it doesn't
have as much of a like a water
resistancy to it they they call it
splash resistant uh but not water
resistant like the 59r is
and the last thing is also that it
actually does not include bluetooth so
if you're wanting to do a headset with
this one
the 59r offers a bluetooth option
whereas this 57r does not
so the last phone we're going to look at
today is the w73h which is the one here
in front of me this one is really basic
use it can be used really for any kind
of environment you know whether it's the
if it's in a warehouse or retail or
small office home office wherever you
really want it's definitely got the kind
of size aspect to it because it's
probably smaller than the rest of the
phones we've looked at today with a
smaller screen as well but when it comes
to battery life and things like that
it's really similar to the other phones
you're looking at around like between 30
to 40 hours of talk time and if you want
to connect it to a headset or a wired
headset you do have a 3.5 millimeter
jack option as well
one more thing i do want to mention when
it comes to headsets you've heard me
talk about so far like your options with
some of them having bluetooth capability
or some of them having just like a 3.5
millimeter jack for a wide headset but i
do want to mention a new feature that
yearling is about to launch uh you may
or may not have already heard of the
yearling
wireless decked range of headsets such
as the wh 62 which is what i'm holding
in front of me here
so these will soon have be able to
actually connect via the deck base
station that you get with these wireless
phones so you'll actually in theory be
able to use these wireless headsets
linking them to the wireless phones that
you've got that we've looked at today in
front of me
so guys to conclude the yearling deck
option has really a choice for anyone in
any position at your workplace you've
got some some basic level phones all the
way up to executive level phones to be
used in pretty much any environment you
can be an office worker working from
home
small or medium workplace you can be an
executive level a warehouse
a factory hotel restaurant pretty much
anything if you need that kind of
portable wireless need yearling
absolutely has an option for you
the phones all have some fantastic
features like really good battery life
and even now they've all got the ability
to connect to an external headset of
some kind whether it be a wired option
through 3.5 millimeter via bluetooth
which a couple of these phones have and
then as i just mentioned near the end
the depth option which links through the
base which can be applicable for any of
the phones we've looked at today
so guys i really hope you enjoyed that
