AstraQom International is a global holding company specializing in the telecommunications sector. Renowned for providing Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services and integrated communication solutions, AstraQom operates across four major regions: the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe, Middle East, and Africa Region, extending its reach to over 100 countries worldwide.
Founded as AstraQom Corporation in 2008, the company underwent substantial growth and changes. It merged with Aon Communications, an Ottawa-based network development provider, in 2009, and subsequently moved its headquarters to Ottawa in 2011. The company broadened its services in 2012 by establishing its first subsidiary, AstraQom Canada Corporation, a VoIP service provider, and launching a virtual receptionist service for small businesses. Later, in 2013, it further expanded by acquiring Shi Lian Telecom, a service provider focusing on Chinese-owned businesses in Canada and the United States.
AstraQom continued its global expansion in the following years with significant strides in 2014 and 2015. It relocated its global headquarters to Silicon Valley and opened an office in San Jose, California in 2014. In 2015, AstraQom Canada’s headquarters were moved to the Greater Toronto Area, marking it’s second Canadian and sixth international office. That same year, the company also expanded into the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. The company’s commitment to growth continued into 2016 with the opening of offices in the Philippines and Brazil, followed by the relocation of its headquarters to Campbell, California.
